There are many schools in Nigeria that accepts candidates to register and write their post UTME examination even if the said candidate did not choose the school during JAMB registration. We have made contacts with many schools to ascertain their acceptability of candidates who did not chose them in the just concluded JAMB CBT. I later discovered that some of these schools accepts candidates to buy their admission form, sit for their post utme examination and subsequently may get the admission.
 What will happen in this situation is that the school will write a letter to JAMB conforming that they have given you admission so that JAMB will update the JAMB admission letter in the JAMB website

This allows candidates who could not secure admission in their school of choice, maybe because of low Jamb and Post UTME score, to still secure an admission slot and start school.

 Generally the admission requirements for the above named schools is 180 aggregate score in JAMB CBT and complete SSCE results.
